How will I know if I'm switched to TCI Long Distance?

TCI Long Distance is one of the most experienced provisioning companies providing long distance service in the country. Based on their process, once an account has been established with TCI Long Distance, each customer receives a welcome letter explaining important information about their account. Included in this letter is information explaining how to verify that you have been switched and what to do if your request to change your long distance provider has been denied by your local exchange carrier. If your request is denied, in most cases it can be resolved by contacting your local exchange carrier to provide acknowledgement of your request. Some carriers may require this in writing.

Does TCI Long Distance reimburse for fees incurred when switching LD service?

Sometimes the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) does charge the customer for changing of a PIC. This fee varies by LEC. When this situation occurs, TCI Long Distance requests that the customer contact our TCI Long Distance Customer Service Group so that we can credit the customer accordingly. If the switching fee is over $10, TCI Long Distance will request that the customer fax in the copy of the LEC bill showing the switching fee detail and we will issue a credit for the fees accordingly.
